Transition Year YSI Project

Every year the TYs take part in a YSI project. The aim of this class being to make a difference socially in some way. One particular group decided to start visiting the Day Care Centre in Ennistymon every Tuesday between 1.30 and 3.30pm. The girls who are taking part in this really enjoy visiting the elderly every Tuesday and feel like they have made a bond with them. The girls have danced, sang and helped make St. Brigid crosses also. They hope to keep up the visits and hope that it continues in the future for successive TY groups.
