Senior County Football Champions

Scoil Mhuire are Senior County Champions!! Led by captain Danielle Griffin, the girls had a fantastic win today over St. Flannan's College to claim the title on a scoreline of 3-7 to 2-9. Well done to Emer Burke who won Woman of the Match and the whole team and extended panel who did the school proud. Huge appreciation to Mr. Whelton and Ms. McMahon for giving generously of their time. We are very proud of all involved. There was a buzz of excitement around the school on the team's return from a celebratory meal in the Falls Hotel. It has been 7 years since the school last won the County Final so it was a very special day for Scoil Mhuire.
