Mid-term break, message from our Principal
Wishing everyone in our school community the very best for mid-term break.
Well done to our students for rising to the challenge of remote learning once again; engagement and participation in online classes has been excellent - your dedication and cooperation was commendable - your wonderful empathy and kindness contributed to our sense of community and shared journey in our school. Huge tribute to our teachers who have committed very long hours of hard work to ensure continuity of effective and engaging teaching and learning online. Their genuine care and concern for our students makes an enormous contribution to the overall quality of education in our school. Sincere appreciation to our parents for valuable support and encouragement - this makes a very positive contribution to your daughters' wellbeing and education.
Now it is time to disengage from our screens, connect with family and enjoy some well deserved downtime and leisure activities. Mid-term is a time for relaxation and enjoyment - plenty of long walks and fresh air; lots of chatting and enjoyable experiences: catching up with all the latest on Netflix - doing what makes you feel content and happy .......😀
I hope you experience a spirit of hope and renewal as the joy and wonder of life is reborn this Spring - the stretch in the evening; the beautiful daffodils and snowdrops; the buds on the trees; the hope of better weather in the coming days!!......
The rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine allows us to anticipate a time
'when we will return to the street
when we will hug again, when all the shopping together will seem like a party.
We think about when all this will be a memory and normality will seem an unexpected and beautiful gift.
We will love everything that so far seemed ordinary to us.
Every second will be precious.
We will go back to laughing and playing together.
Strength, hope and courage!' Pope Francis
Hope you enjoy a well deserved break. Take great care of yourselves and look out for one another.
