Message from the Principal

To the Scoil Mhuire Community

Wishing you all a great long weekend - the sense of hope is most uplifting as we approach the official beginning of Summer tomorrow and look forward to the lifting of Covid 19 restrictions. There is a very upbeat, positive vibe in our school today!

'Mind your Mind Week':

We placed a special focus this week on the importance of health and wellbeing. Each day students experienced activities and programmes that were both developmental and enjoyable - 'Rounders on the Beach'; 'Movie Monday'; 'Tea with Tutors'; 'Origami Birds Project'; 'Mindfulness Meditation'; 'Dance with Tess'; 'Foraging in the Glen'. We concluded the week with a visit from an ice-cream van and a lovely '99 ice cream' for all! Míle buíochas for your creativity and hard work to Wellbeing Coordinator Ms. O'Dowd, and the Wellbeing Committee - Ms. Ahern, Ms. Collins, Ms. Dooley, Ms. Minogue.

Reflection:

Blessing for the Month of May in the image attached.

I hope you have opportunities to be outdoors over the weekend. Take great care.
