Message from our Principal

As we come to the end of term I am immensely proud of our school community. I am most impressed by the dedication and commitment from students in all year groups. All students wholeheartedly embraced the challenges of remote learning. Online engagement and participation has been outstanding for all our girls - nár laga Dia sibh! 5th Years and 6th Years breathed life back into our classrooms when they returned to live classes - your presence was most welcome. A special shout out for our teachers; they are second to none; massive tribute to their tremendous dedication and enthusiasm; they went many extra miles to ensure high quality teaching and learning as well as a supportive learning environment for our students. Our parents support and encouragement is most valuable; you make a very positive contribution to your daughters' lives and I appreciate your positive relationship with our school.

The Department of Education has confirmed that all students will return to school following the holidays; we're really looking forward to normal school life - high quality education and wellbeing will be at the core but I also look forward to lots of stories, chatter, fun and laughter. I know the girls are really looking forward to live connection with friends and teachers. We have missed you and can't wait to have all our classrooms overflowing with life and energy once again!

We wish the very best to 6th Year students who will take Leaving Certificate Oral and Practical Exams during the holidays. You have put huge effort into preparing for these exams. I have no doubt that you will showcase the best of the hard work and reach your full potential. We're all rooting for you!

Beannachtaí na Cásca - I hope you get some well earned rest and relaxation during the holidays- that you enjoy plenty of fresh air and favourite leisure activities. Check out Netflix - I'm sure lots of recent offerings to choose from! Try and do something you enjoy every single day. Above all, this holiday is a time to be gentle with yourself and be kind and supportive to family members in your home. Wishing you all a very Happy Easter.

Very best to all of you.
