Leaving Cert Results

There were scenes of jubilation at Scoil Mhuire Ennistymon this morning as students received their Leaving Cert results. It can be a tense time for students and parents alike so it was heartening to see so many relieved and smiling faces once the envelopes had been opened. A large number of students are now confident they have booked a place on their first choice College course when the CAO offers are made on Monday next. There was an overwhelmingly positive reaction with many parents expressing their delight at the achievements of their children. A massive collective sigh of relief was exhaled as thoughts of college life now became a reality. Despite national reports of increased failure rates in Ordinary Level papers students at all levels achieved results which were in many instances above their expectations and many achieved personal bests. The management, staff and school community would like to congratulate the girls and wish them the best in their exciting futures.
