International Women’s Day

On Friday we celebrated International Women’s Day and 3rd – 6th year students were treated to a talk from 4 inspirational women.

Róisín Ní Gháirbhith, Áine Mae O’Mahoney, Angie Gough and Jacinta Sheeran had four very different stories to tell about their lives but each one had a strong empowering message for our students.

We are so grateful to these four women for coming to visit our school. The mornings events were also complimented so nicely with music by Transition Year harpist Kate McMahon and later 5th years Katie Lernihan (piano) and Alison Staunton-O’Doherty (vocals).
