Enterprise Talk

On Thursday the 6th of October TY’s,1st years and 2nd years attended a very informative talk in the Armada hotel about how to start their own businesses and all the guidelines to do so.

Students departed the school at approximately 9.15 There was a short break at 11, lunch was served at 12.30 and then they returned to school.

Three second year girls from Scoil Mhuire – Ailbhe,Kayla and Ellen – were guest speakers on the day as they had previously set up their own business and were very successful. Evan Talty then talked to the three schools who attended about his seaweed business he set up and gave reassurance to all the students about starting their own business.It was a very enjoyable and informative day for all who attended. Hopefully we will see those who set up businesses making items for sale at the school Christmas market later in the year.
