Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, the TYs wanted to help raise awareness for this important issue. On the 3rd of October it was decided that they would go down town to do fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society’s Pink Campaign. It was a cool but lovely day out and the girls left school with much enthusiasm. Three groups were sent out to collect money at Spar, Conways and Supervalu. Huge thanks to the local community for their generous donations an to the girls themselves for their dedication in collecting for this cause.
