2nd Year Fundraise for Afri!

Our 2nd Year students have been busy making over 200 St.Brigid’s Day crosses for their C.SP.E. projects. The St. Brigid’s Peace Cross was launched in Derry by the late Nobel Laureat, Sean MacBride in 1983. St. Brigid’s Peace Day, February 1st, is also the first day of Spring , the season in which we celebrate new life on earth.

Our 2nd Year students took turns to sell the crosses throughout the town of Ennistymon in St. Brigid’sDay and raised over €400 for Afri. Well done 2ndYears!l
