TRANSITION YEAR BOOKLIST

The transition year booklist for 2011-2012 is now available here.

Transition year offers major benefits to students such as:

  •  the space to learn and mature without the pressure of exams.
  • Pupils entering Leaving Certificate Programme after Transition year are better equipped for study.
  • Pupils gain experience of the world of work and insight into particular career areas.
  • Students are free to avail of extra curricular activities.
  • Improved student-teacher relationships

Along with class room subjects, Transition Year students are offered the unique opportunity to take part in many many extra curricular activities, these may differ from year to year depending on what becomes available and what the students themselves are itnerested in.
